Barnett's primary customers are professional plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building contractors. The company sells major brand names, but also offers its own private label alternatives at value prices.

In late 2010 Barnett launched a campaign to combat a stigma that its private label product offerings were a lesser quality than national brands. The main goal was to spotlight the quality of key products and change the customer's perception.

Barnett’s quality brochure was the launching off point for this campaign. It features some of Barnett's top sellers and called out the different elements that made the products worthy of the “Quality“ label. With the professional in-house photography and the clean structured layout, the brochure was a great showcase for the products that eventually spawned a complete catalog.
